Gary Wilson: candidate for Treasurer of the Local 1211 Retirees

Gary has been the cornerstone of ourUnion's financial security for a very long time. For years he served as the treasurer of the D211 Teachers Union and continues to do so for Local 1211. He understands the tax laws that apply to unions and he understands the financial relationship between the councils and the Local. He will be an essential asset to our new retiree chapter.

Rick Gerz: candidate for Secretary of the Local 1211 Retirees

Rick Gerz continues to be an unstoppable member of Local 1211. His contribution to our Union spans six decades. From building representative to President of the Local Rick has held every office with respect, hardwork and dedication. Whatever anyone needs to have done, Rick offers to do it. His strong suit is communications so his role as Secretary will be a great fit.

Shirley Forpe:  candidate for President of the Local 1211 Retirees

Shirley's passion for our Union has been as much a part of her life as teaching or art. The Union is a priority for Shirley and she will make whatever time commitment is necessary to get this new chapter up and running. She understands the importance of the retirees to our Local and to the IFT-AFT. As president her relationships with other groups will benefit our organization of retirees.
